Reinserting Binder Pin
#1
I made which is now overly apparent mistake on removing the binder pin on my Ultegra PD 6700 pedal and having an impossible time putting the pin back in. I can thread the pin all the way through the binding but can't get the darn thing to set properly and can't get the threads to catch. I know the binding is under tension but just can't get it aligned. Any tricks anyone knows of?

thanks!

Going to make the guess you already looked this http://techdocs.shimano.com/media/techdocs/content/cycle/EV/bikecomponents/PD/EV-PD-6700-2939_v1_m56577569830696869.pdf . Not sure of the size binding pin but is there a hole in the other side? I was thinking of using a screwdriver (thin one) to go in the other side.
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!

Yep, saw that. There is a hole on the other side. You can't see it as you line up the pin because the binding is in the way. There's not enough space, I don't think, to use a screwdriver but I'm going to tinker with that idea and see if leads somewhere. Thanks for the suggestion.
