My Origin 8 Adrenaline Road Bike
#1
This is a picture of my Origin 8 road bike. When I tell most people what I have, they say they've never heard of Origin 8 (with the exception of one bike shop mechanic I talked to).

That is a sweet bike, carl! I am guessing that you built it from frame up?
I've often seen them in the J&B catg, just never heard much about them so never ordered one. How did it go with parts install and, how is the ride?

Actually, this bike was a gift from my brother who is a huge road geek. I don't know if he built the bike up or if he bought it with the component group already assembled. I rode it once when I visited him and really enjoyed it. The next thing I knew he traded it for a Trek 1.1 that I won and we wound up giving the Trek to another brother.

Hi Carl, just interested in what chainset you have. Pretty bike!

I'm not quite sure that I understand what you mean by chainset. I'm still learning my way around the parts and how to do some light mechanical work. I do know that the chain is a Shimano 10 speed super narrow chain. The cassette is a Shimano CS-5600 12-27T. The crankset is a Shimano 105 double (53 & 39 I believe). Both front and rear derailleurs are Shimano Ultegra as are the shifters.

Sorry, in Europe a chainset is the cranks /chainwheel chain etc. Also known as a groupset or gruppo. By the way I like the 105 setup and the 12/27 with the front chainwheel is great for your road bike.
