Show off your bike!
Upload a photo of your ride! If you want, share a story about it too Smile

You've seen my commuter/touring bike in many of the videos, but here's the start of my latest project I just won an auction for on ebay. I'm super excited. It's a aluminum GT flatland bike I'm going to build up over the next few months. I'll probably paint it, but not sure what color yet... I'll update this photo when it's built up.

RE: Show off your bike!
well here is me (and mine) an old 10-speed peugeot racer (nothing fancy) that I have had for twenty years - it was second hand then. kudos to alex for making the maintenance so much simpler with his videos - can now do it myself rather than having to rely on friends.

Nice to see other people's bikes. Here are my two: The Centurion I bought at a garage sale for $30 quite a few years back. Used it for years commuting to work. The Schwinn is comfortable but heavier. Tutor videos have been very helpful and very well produced.

RE: Show off your bike!
My 1993 Trek that I purchased new, and in the last year or so have refurbished with many new/used parts I acquired over the last couple years. Some of those include Shimano XT (rd-m739) rear Derailleur and xt front, LX canti brakes (upgraded pads to Eagle Claw salmon) , Mavic X517 rims/32 spoke/LX Hubs, SRAM Attack gripshift (Shimano compatible) SRAM PG-850 Casette, SRAM PC-48 Chain. Allot of the work I was able to complete thanks to Alex's videos and great advice.

I have much more to do, but my health took a turn for the worst, so I haven't exactly completed everything that needs to be done. I still need to replace the Bottom Bracket and stock Atlus Crank, when I come up with the money. The bike flys, but the bottom bracket is very dodgy at the moment, so I don't get much saddle time.

RE: Show off your bike!
My latest acquisition. Just bought this to use while I'm on a 3 month visit in Berlin. Usually ride an old Peugeot racer, but wanted something more transport oriented for the mellow streets of this city. It's a HKS, probably from early 80's. Anyone know a source for brake shoes for an old Sachs VT hub brake? The shops here all shrug their shoulders.

RE: Show off your bike!
This is just one of my many Bikes that I have. The others not pictured yet. Reason I like this is I can take my Black lab with me, sometimes she pulls the weight of it and myself. She is pictured as well on the right.

I just finished building this Single Speed Bike. It's tons of fun to ride. Prolly going to sell it though. I have too many bikes.

This is my heavily upgraded Hardrock. It's great for blasting around Welsh trail centres, and proper natural cross country/All-mountain stuff.

...and here is my Downhill bike I got a few months ago, and I love it!
