SRAM X9 twist shifter question
new to this forum. I am in the process of upgrading my recumbent's right side shifting system from a 9 speed Shimano Deore derailluer and Rocket Twist shifter to a SRAM X9 9 speed rear derailleur and SRAM X9 right shifter. I bought both parts, but when the right side shifter arrived I thought it was supposed to include the handlebar grip also--it did not. It looks like the X9 twist shifter is designed to accept an integral handlebar grip that becomes integral with the twist shifter, so that they both twist at the same time when shifting. Is this correct? If that is a correct assumption, I can't seem to locate anything on line for sale that says it is for a X9 twist grip shifter. XX or XO handlebar grips are available but so far I have not be able to locate the X9 handlebar grip.

RE: SRAM X9 twist shifter question
Most twist shifters do not include grips. You can purchase shorter grips, or modify long ones to suit.

RE: SRAM X9 twist shifter question
I have never seen any grips that attach to the sifter and rotate with the sifter.
