Crooked RD
#1
Had a new bike delivered yesterday and although it was supposedly tuned up and ready to ride after assembled it was nowhere close, ok, I expected that. After I got it all set up I noticed the probable cause of the terrible noise and shifting issues was the crooked RD. It is a new SRAM Rival, just want to be sure before I get too involved that this is indeed what it is NOT supposed to look like. Every other bike I have worked on, both pulleys are lined up with each other and the cogs, wayyyy off here. Thanks all.

I guess any advice for what to about it would be good too.

It doesn't look right to me. Do you have another derailleur you could fit, just temporarily, to see how it looks?

I'm wondering whether it's the derailleur, or the hanger.
