1995 Specialized Rockhopper FS Comp A1

This a 26in wheel 21spd hardtail MTB in fantastic condition, barely ridden and has never seen the dirt. Cleaned up and ready to ride. Upgraded new Shimano Trigger shifters, updated new Avid Single digit 5 V-brakes and levers, new Sram lock-on grips, new chain, new barends, new bottle cage, all new cables/housing and new mini clips on new Shimano dual platform/Spd pedals. frame size is 15in with a 28in stand over height. Just goes to show that a $75 used bike can be made into a great user today with the right bit of love!

Wow, nice grab. People don't want to give up their Fuji or Specialized here.

We get lots of GTs though. I just took apart two nightmare cases that had never been serviced before.

They were so seized up, I was lucky to get them apart without anything serious breaking.

I had to throw away one of the cranks because I couldn't get the pedals off even, with my 15mm wrench being bent from another seized pedals case before. It wasn't really worth selling anyways. $25 crank at most.

yup been there before, this was no beauty when I acquired it but I am pretty good at looking thru the old cake and have good vision of what it will be when completed

yup, great bike that went to an avid Lady that commutes everywhere. Do not even think she uses an automoblie at all. You got to love her style plus she was a real sweetheart to boot.

The frame was on the small side for me, sold for $450 to the first person to come look at it. She said it was the cleanest nicest bike she has looked at. Can't keep em all, just love doing em up nice for the next person.

@Painkiller, I love your thinking and actions. You put so much effort in "cleaning and refurbing" the bike but do not hesitate when it comes to " good" of the bike. I completely agree that bike will be happier in it's new home than standing/stored in one's garage...
